I have been passionately teaching my mother tongue, German as a foreign language, since 1999 and therefore, I would love to give you online tutoring. In Frankfurt a.M., I studied philosophy, theology and German language and literature. Afterwards, I retrained as a trade fair and event specialist. My first language teaching experience was at Berlitz Language School. There I worked as a freelancer for two years, teaching up to 32 lessons a week and also working as a translator and interpreter. In 2001 I moved to Barcelona (Spain). My clients there come from all sorts of backgrounds but I also work closely with organisations and trade unions (CCOO).

In 2003/2004, I led specialised doctors in Barcelona from level 0 to B1 level in 3 monographic intensive courses, each lasting 4.5 months (480 teaching hours). Since 2001 I live near Barcelona and since March 2020 I teach mainly ONLINE via Skype, MS Teams, Meet. I work with Google Classroom and Google Drive and have online teaching material from A1 to B2. Currently I also give private one-to-one lessons, do language training related to focus areas such as telephone conversation training, job interviews, giving company presentations, level exams, etc. My hobbies are hiking and Spanish and German history. I speak also fluent Spanish and English.
