CELTA qualified English language teacher - About me

I have been an English as a Foreign language tutor for 12 years. I have been an online/webcam teacher of German adult students for 8 of these 12 years. I speak German to CEF level B2. I specialize in customized courses; in other words the student decides their goals and I design classes to achieve those goals. My teaching qualifications are CELTA (2007) and DTLLS (an adult teaching diploma, in 2009-2010). I am energetic and very enthusiastic about what I do. Sometimes I wish I had become an English teacher earlier in my life. In my free time I cycle and swim. I am also a dedicated amateur writer of plays and fiction books - with some modest successes.

Before I became an English tutor I was an Export Sales Manager for 16 years. I have extensive experience of teaching business English.
I have also designed and taught English language courses for new nurses coming from Europe to work in England. I have worked for over ten National Health Trusts in England.
