Being a native speaker is not always enough in order to teach someone a foreign language. Language teaching is an art in itself. That is where TEFL certification comes in. TEFL (English as a Foreign Language) certification is the world-wide accepted qualification to teach English to students whose first language isn't English. A TEFL is important because it covers topics such as teaching language skills, grammar, classroom and planning management. TEFL certified teachers can help you master all the five elements of proper language usage: reading, writing, speaking, listening and pronunciation. Since I am TEFL certified, I can teach both children and adults.

About me

I’m Olivia from London. I am a TEFL qualified, mother-tongue English bilingual with Goethe C2 Deutsche and BA (hons) German and Linguistics. I’ve been teaching English and German for almost 8 years. Recently relocated from London to Munich (too soon for Brexit jokes-please). I have worked in both English and German corporate firms so I’m familiar with both of our boardroom styles and really enjoy coaching Business English and conversation. Being an absolute avid reader with a curious mind, I build individual lessons that are as enriching and entertaining as I possibly can so you stay motivated reach your language targets. From forgotten basics and half- remembered one-liners to positively flawless fluent oration and negotiation. My main aim is to build confidence in your English for work and leisure whatever your starting point and goals are.
