Do you want to learn English through art and music with a native Canadian speaker? With over nine years of experience in teaching English, art and music, I can definitely help you out.
As far as my education goes, I hold a BFA in Visual Arts from the Emily Carr University of Art and Design and an MA from Weißensee Kunsthochschule in Berlin. With that in mind, if you are also interested in learning art and music through English, or the other way around - to learn English through art and music, we would definitely have a lot to talk about!
My goal is always to make each lesson fun, creative, and specially tailored for you! Through art and music, learning a new language can be especially fun. I like to think outside of the box so together we can find the best lesson plan. I am comfortable working with kids as well as adults. Whatever your language goals or level might be: I can tailor my lessons to your needs. Whether that is for school, business or work! The way you want to learn is entirely in your hands.

I am passionate about languages and I enjoy transferring my knowledge to others. Since I was born in Iran, my mother tongue is Farsi. As a child, I moved to Canada so my English is at the native level. Together with my formal experience and work experience in teaching, I am confident I can help you whatever your learning goals are. If you are a Farsi speaker yourself and want to learn English from scratch, I am the right person to talk to! I have been working as a freelance English tutor for multiple institutions including Mouroum Sprachcenter Berlin and Oxford Learning Centre located in Vancouver, Canada.
